Few and a few；little and a little
Few
Few it means almost none or nearly zero. few用来形容可数名词，表示几乎没有
Eg: only few people eat century eggs. 几乎很少人吃松花蛋。
A few
A few mean some or a handful. A few 是用来形容可数名词的。表示的意思和some差不多，都是有一些。
Eg: I have a few friends in shanghai. 我在上海有几个朋友。
Or there are a few good movies on this week.
Little
Little is the almost the same as not much, or hardly any. Little 用来形容不可数名词，表示几乎没有的
Eg: she has little chance to get that job. 她几乎没有什么机会得到这份工作。
Or I have little free time this week.
同样little也可以表示大小的，比如可以说look that little girl. 看那个小女孩。
A little
A little, like a few means enough or a small amount. A little 用来形容不可数名词，表示some 一些的意思.
Eg: she speaks a little English.她仅仅只会说一点点英语。
