The tables compare the five European countries in terms of sales of two products, coffee and bananas, in the years 1999 and 2004.

Coffee sales in Switzerland in 2004 was twice as much as that in 1999, rising from 3 million to 6. Sales in the other three countries, Belgium, Sweden and Denmark, didn’t see too much change, basically ranging from 0.8 to 2 million.
As for sales of bananas, Switzerland was the one ranking first in both the two years, with 15 million in 1999 and 46 million in 2004. The UK and Belgium also saw a big increase in banana sales, from 1 to 5.5 million and 0.6 to 4 million respectively, ranking second and third among the five countries. Sweden and Denmark were the only two countries which saw a decrease in terms of banana sales, the figure dropping from 1.8 to 1 in Sweden and 2 to 0.9 in Denmark.
Overall, the UK and Switzerland were the two counties leading in the sales of coffee and bananas, while sales in the other three countries didn’t show much difference in the two years.
